All the staff where very friendly and amicable. The view from our family room was EXCEPTIONAL. The vibe here was family.

Located in a peaceful spot right by the ocean. 🌊 The room was fresh and clean, fitted with bunk beds, and the staff couldn't have been nicer.

tangahús was a delightful surprise - peaceful, well-equipped, and perfectly located by the sea. The owners were incredibly welcoming and the views of the fjord and sunset were breathtaking. The spacious rooms and big kitchen made it ideal for groups. We even caught a glimpse of the northern lights! Can't wait to go back!

Showers and toilets need improvement.

The room here was spacious and nicely furnished with a unique sloping ceiling, and the bathroom was a good size; the peaceful and stunning location by the sea was just perfect.

The brand-new room is quite spacious with a fantastic sea view, the comfortable beds and large bathroom here are fabulous.

As young people, we loved the cozy and student-like atmosphere of Tangahus Guesthouse. the shared kitchen and dining room were well-equipped and spacious, perfect for us to cook and hang out together. the view of the fjord from the large windows was breathtaking. the availability of woolly slippers added a nice touch to the Icelandic experience. Having separate showers and bathrooms for men and women was convenient. the washer and dryer on the ground floor were a great bonus.

I had such a pleasant and homely stay at a guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. The accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped, with a spacious living room and a perfectly functional kitchen. The location offered breathtaking views over the fjord, making it worth the distance from everything else. The highlight of my stay was being able to witness the beautiful polar lights throughout the night, thanks to the lack of nearby lights. The owner was also very helpful and provided all the necessary information. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a unique and cozy experience.

The location of this guesthouse was absolutely stunning. It was situated right on the edge of a fjord and we had breathtaking views of the water and surrounding mountains. It was the perfect setting for a romantic escape.

The communication with the host was a bit challenging. They spoke very little English, which made it difficult for us to communicate our needs and get any recommendations for activities or restaurants in the area.
